Send a email to this tenant with a link to the landlord reference that you've just submitted. So they know what you've submited about them. Some states require a notice to be sent to tenants that are reported to consumer reporting agencies. If you've provided a positive landlord reference, this could encourage this tenant to keep being a good tenant to keep a positive landlord reference. If you've provided a negative reference, this will show this tenant that they need to work hard to recieve a positive reference in the future.
